You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Sometimes we all need a little extra support, a place to belong, and people who get it. REconnect offers community-based life skills and support groups for young people who are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or exploring who they are, as well as support and connection for the parents and caregivers walking alongside them.

Because everyone deserves a community where they can show up as themselves, build meaningful connections, and grow together.

What We Offer

Spicy Special Skills: A Support Program for Teens and Parents

Thursdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm

September 3- October 8, 2026

This six-week program combines a life skills and support group for young people ages 11-14 with neurodivergencies and/or those who identify as LGBTQIA+ with a concurrent Parent Peer Support Group.

Young people will participate in a supportive, facilitated group led by a qualified social worker and therapist. Through guided discussion and collaborative activities, participants will explore practical life skills, navigate personal challenges, and reflect on their individual experiences while building connection and community with peers.

At the same time, parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to participate in a Parent Peer Support Group led by an ADHD coach and trauma-informed neurosomatic coach. This group provides a supportive space for caregivers to share their unique experiences, discuss the challenges of parenting during the adolescent years, and develop practical strategies for supporting neurodivergent young people. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore their own neurodivergence, diagnoses, and lived experiences, and consider how these intersect with their role as a parent or caregiver.
